We thought that spending a Saturday afternoon in tree shade while someone reads to you felt like a perfect lead up to summer. Our first collaboration with Field Trip/Book Suey features Jennifer Nelson, Jessica Madison Pískatá, Catharine Batsios, and Christine Kanownik bringing poetry to Buffalo Prescott. Field Trip is a reading series curated by Kanownik and is usually hosted in Hamtramck at Book Suey, a bookstore cooperative and community space. Each Trip features visiting writers paired with Detroit authors and poets.
