CutTime Simfonica - 'Model-T Magic'

The full CutTime Simfonica (string sextet+light drums) will feature many of founder Rick Robinson's most dramatic and cathartic compositions and arrangements for the 50th anniversary of the Fair Lane Music Guild series. Robinson is a former DSO bassist-turned-composer on a mission to broaden audiences for classical and symphonic music with casual, lively, eclectic, soulful, demonstrative and informative performances; a style he calls "new classical." What's more, the very expressive MOT Concertmaster Eliot Heaton will join, improvising at times with Musique Noire violist Leslie DeShazor. Program also includes Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture to Bach, Ellington, Beethoven, Still, Leroy Anderson and Chabrier.
