Black Scholars in Dance presents An Evening for Sarah

Black Scholars in Dance presents: An Evening for Sarah, a concert in honor of the civil rights activist and survivor of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, Sarah Collins Rudolph. On September 15th, 1963, KKK members bombed the Birmingham church resulting in the murder of four little girls. Mrs. Rudolph, the fifth girl, was not only a victim of the bombing, but she also lost her sister, three friends, and her right eye. Students from across the University of Michigan will be celebrating and honoring Sarah Collins Rudolph in a performance that she will be attending. This is a ticketed event, and tickets will be available for free an hour before the show. For more information, please contact Brooke Taylor, [email protected]
