Woodward Dream Cruise

It’s hard to think of a better way to celebrate the heritage of the Motor City than to relive its heyday with a leisurely, 1950s-style cruise down historical Woodward Avenue in a sweet vintage jalopy. The Dream Cruise takes place along the 16-mile stretch of “America’s first highway,” and passes through nine host cities where onlookers admire the different makes and models one by one. The event has deservedly become the largest one-day automotive event in the world, and is expected to draw some 1.5 million people and 50,000 classic cars from around the world.
