Why Is Google Censoring Left-Wing Websites?

When: Thu., Oct. 26, 7 p.m. 2017
Price: Free
@ Wayne State University Student Center - Room 10, 5221 Gullen Mall Detroit, MI 48202
In an act of political censorship, Google is blocking internet traffic to socialist and left-wing websites, including the World Socialist Web Site, Alternet, Wikileaks, Counterpunch, Truth-out, and Common Dreams. Google is working with the government to limit access to opinions that are not those of the ruling elite.

The Youth and Students for Social Equality at Wayne State, along with the Socialist Equality Party and the World Socialist Web Site (wsws.org), the primary target of the censorship, are calling this meeting to present the facts about Google’s attack on left-wing websites and a plan to fight censorship.
