What started as a modest home studio session in 2010 in California quickly became the sultry blues and soul outfit Vintage Trouble. The name says it all. VT is a retro throwback to the likes of Chuck Berry and the earlier ballad-heavy Rolling Stones. Where does the trouble come in, you might ask? If we had to guess it would be in the velvety gravel of vocalist Ty Taylor, whose timeless range could give goosebumps and encourage backseat transgressions in a single breath. Also on the bill is Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue. Trouble, indeed.
