Not to be macabre, but increasingly, when it comes to our rock ’n’ roll heroes from the 1960s and ’70s, you never know when it’s going to be your last chance to see them perform. Even if they’ve already done a dozen “farewell” tours, because no one takes those seriously anymore. We all know you’ve got the three mortgages on the two houses with your fourth wife, and hence the need for revenue. The Who’s anthems have always been the best, and they’ve been one of the best live bands for decades, so you know you want to be there. They’re not doing the Who Sell Out in its entirety, but it’ll still be tremendous enough.
