The Smith Street Band

Australian foursome the Smith Street Band sounds every bit from Down Under and infuse their punk vibe with an authentic and inclusive angst. Rallying with catharsis and riotous togetherness, the Smith Street Band is far more wild than their name suggests. Taking Back Sunday meets your super cool high school counselor and that ambitious punk record your parents insist isn’t theirs, and you’ve got a handle on the Smith Street Band.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; 1 S. Saginaw, Pontiac ; 248-377-0100; thecrofoot.com; Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door.
