People across the globe will join together to honor those facing Alzheimer's disease by participating in The Longest Day® on Monday, June 20, 2016. The Longest Day is a team event to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers. Whether it’s cycling, playing bridge, exercising or playing a team sport, participants raise funds and awareness to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Held annually on summer solstice, the duration of this sunrise-to-sunset event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers.
