The Detroit Blues Heritage Series presents " Detroit Rockabilly Blues"

The Detroit Blues Heritage Series will present Detroit Rockabilly Blues. This event will take place at the Historic Scarab Club, 217 Farnsworth in Detroit’s Cultural Center. A $10.00 admission charge is requested. This event will feature George Bedard and the Kingpins. George Bedard is a seminal figure on the Michigan roots music scene. In the 1960’s, while teaching himself guitar, George expanded his musical horizons by listening to all the Blues greats. By the 1970’s he had teamed up the Guitarist Steve Nardella and formed the very popular band the Silvertones, which became Ann Arbor's most popular Blues Band
