This exhibit of 100 vintage and contemporary Velvet Paintings represents various themes, painting skills, painting styles and geographies. From the popular Velvi's (multiple Elvises) and happy clowns to iconic images of Southwestern landscapes, the Mexican boy and his donkey to the Virgin of Guadalupe, the exhibit provides an introduction to the medium for some and a calling back to their youth for others.
