The Alarm feat. Mike Peters

When: Sat., July 28, 8 p.m. 2018
Price: $28
“For every day they’ll try and drag us down/ I cry with anger, I have done no crime,” sings Mike Peters on the Alarm’s 35-year-old chart topper “68 Guns” — a battle cry track that feels pretty damn relevant today. Initially formed as punk outfit the Toilets, Peter’s quickly reworked the band’s sound, which landed gigs with U2 and Bob Dylan. In 2005, the Alarm made a brief comeback before Peters announced a rare cancer diagnosis. Since then, cancer-free Peters has founded the Love Hope Strength charity (one of the world’s leading rock ’n’ roll cancer foundations) and is now heading a new lineup.
