It’s summer break, and a group of Detroit teens is looking forward to celebrating with parties, relaxing, and hanging out on Belle Isle. But when a menacing classmate intrudes in their lives, they find their summer is nothing like they’d expected - and they feel powerless to speak out.
What happens when oppression simply goes too far? Can we really trust those in power to protect us? In a modern adaptation of Lope De Vega’s Fuente Ovejuna, the Matrix Teen Company has brought these questions to the stage.
