In the Tradition Returns to Aretha's Jazz Cafe May 27
"Remembering Our Revolutionaries"
In the Tradition's "Remembering Our Revolutionaries" at Aretha's Jazz Cafe, will feature original compositions that memorialize freedom fighters Chokwe Lumumba, Gabriel Prosser, Nat Turner and Kwame Nkrumah, to name a few.
The cafe opens at 7:30 p.m. and seating is general admission. The first set will begin promptly at 8 p.m. The 10-piece instrumental ensemble features the extraordinary vocal talent of Michelle "Jahra" McKinney.
