“Suicide Prevention and Addiction” will be presented by Ray Dalton, MA, CAADC; Dawn Farm Outpatient, Community Corrections and Youth/Family Services Coordinator. People with alcohol/other drug addiction have a significantly higher risk of suicide attempts and completion than the general population, including people in early recovery. Family, friends and others can often recognize potential suicidal thinking and intervene to help. Learn about the prevalence of suicide among people with addiction, signs of suicidal thinking, and effective ways to support and help people who may be thinking about suicide. This program is part of the Dawn Farm Education Series.
