Pere Ubu

Forty years since they first terrorized the Midwest with their expansive art-punk caterwaul, Pere Ubu return to re-examine their earliest material, live and in your face. The show is billed as “Co-Ed Jail: Songs from 1975-82,” which, let’s face it, is exactly what you want. While the two box sets this tour’s material is culled from largely feature guitarist Tom Herman and he is unable to make these dates, fret not, as Rocket from the Tombs’ Gary Siperko will be playing guitar in his stead. Bring earplugs: These journeymen have done this for a long time and they’re probably all half-deaf.
