Michigan Social Work presents Juliana Huxtable -NYC-based artist, DJ and poet whose work probes the perception and presentation of identity, history and online communities. Through Huxtable’s explorations, one may contemplate the power and powerlessness of the body as well as its dispossession in relation to technology, violence, and blackness. The production features pianist, percussionist, and composer Joe Hefferna and Detroit-based harpist Ahya Simone. Michael Potvin is lighting designer.
