Paul Frank: From Handcrafted to World Famous

In 1995, Paul Frank Sunich sketched a gift to his girlfriend and soon after the cartoon became known around the world as Julius the Monkey. The designer shot to stardom in the late ’90s and early 2000s, making him a world-famous artist and designer. Now, in conjunction with the Henry Ford’s House Industries exhibit, Frank will make a two-day appearance at the museum to talk about his 22-year-long career and how he was able to start a global phenomenon. In addition to a lecture, Frank will also host a $150 workshop.
