Palmer Park Art Fair

Palmer Park is home to Detroit’s only log cabin — betcha didn’t know that little factoid. The park also used to be known for hosting all sorts of illicit interactions, but it’s been cleaned up and turned into a place where families can enjoy wholesome activities, this art fair being just one of them. The fair was a staple event in the ’70s and was resurrected three years ago. Now, 75 juried artists and 15 high school students set up for the weekend selling all sorts of beautiful things.
