Opening Reception for Art of the Everyday: Objects from Ancient Daily Life Exhibition

“The Art of the Everyday” exhibition focuses on the objects that were used in the lives of ordinary people in the ancient Mediterranean world, from Greece to Italy to Egypt and beyond. The Stamelos Gallery Center is very pleased to bring this exhibition of ancient artifacts from the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, the Toledo Museum of Art, and works from the University’s permanent collection to the UM-Dearborn campus community and the general public! During the opening receptio, there will be a talk by special guest speaker, Elaine K. Gazda, Professor of Classical Art and Archaeology, UM-Ann Arbor at 6pm.
