On The Market!: A Spring Celebration of the Made in Michigan Writers Series

As the state’s only literary imprint devoted solely to the publication of Michigan-based authors, the Made in Michigan Writers Series (MMWS) welcomes a fresh new crop of books by some of our best mitten-bred talent. Each author will perform a new piece created exclusively for this year’s event. Expect a few twists including live music, performance art, and a dash of drama presented in one of Detroit’s finest and most exciting arts venues. Featuring pre-program music by acclaimed bassist Marion Hayden, complimentary light appetizers and a large selection of MMWS and regional books available for sale and signing.
