Bloomington, Indiana five-piece Murder by Death may have taken their name from a satirical Robert Moore film, but what they deliver is far removed. Gothic undertones (thanks to bursts of cello and haunting organ keys) with twangy, Wild West tumbleweed vibes is what sets Murder by Death apart from your typical alt-country outfit.
