Michigan's abandoned Deer Forest Fun Park is up for auction — let's take a tour

Welcome to Deer Forest Fun Park, a former theme park in Michigan. First opened in 1949 in Coloma, about 45 minutes from Kalamazoo, the park has seen better days, and the 25-acre site is now up for auction. While the rides and petting zoo are long gone, there are still buildings standing like a log cabin and Mother Hubbard’s Gift Shop. According to MLive, the property is zoned for any use. Anyone want to bring this theme park back from the dead? The auction ends Oct. 14.
