(Birmingham, MI) - The brits have National Tea Day in April, but Michiganders are giving them a run for their money with the 2nd Annual Michigan Tea Week taking place November 14th through November 20th, 2016. Organized by Eli Majid, owner of Eli Tea Bar in Birmingham, the goal of Michigan Tea Week was initiated to promote tea culture through local independent/artisan tea merchants throughout the state. Majid says, “Last year - the inaugural year - there were eleven companies that participated by hosting various tea tastings, etiquette seminars and in-store promotions.”
