Michael Henderson Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Detroiter, 4 time Grammy Nominee Michael Henderson who along with the rest of the world mourns the loss of sister and friend, Aretha Franklin pays tribute in his concert at the esteemed Charles H. Wright Museum Of African American History. Fame came early in life for the prodigious bass player in Detroit's music circles who as a teen (after having received permission from his mom) was "on the road" playing with such groups as "The Detroit Emeralds, The Fantastic Four, Stevie Wonder, Funk Brothers, Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Marvin Gaye MORE!!
