Metro Times Hall of Whiskey

New Center’s Fisher Building might be Detroit’s most beautiful piece of architecture. In fact, it’s nicknamed Detroit’s "largest art object.” So, if you’ve ever hoped to spend more time inside the gorgeous Art Deco structure, here’s your chance. Metro Times’ new whiskey tasting event is the first of its kind in the city and will feature a stunning selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches — plus a pairing menu prepared by Detroit Catering and musical entertainment by crooner Ben Sharkey. The best part: The event is all-inclusive. That means you have access to all amenities without having to purchase food or additional drink tickets. Think of it as the ultimate VIP experience inside the most resplendent building in the city. Proceeds benefits the Attic Theater Company.

Starts at 7 p.m.; 3011 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit;; Tickets are $75.
