Hanukkah is lit, y’all. To celebrate the first night, the 7th annual Menorah in the D event will brighten Campus Martius. The event is free and is made possible by the Shul, the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, and Chabad in the D. In addition to the lighting of the one-of-a-kind steel and glass menorah, the event will include family-fun activities, live performances, and kosher food and snacks. Did we mention a marshmallow roasting pit, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fire jugglers? If Menorah in the D isn’t on your holiday tradition roster, it is now. Mazel tov!
