Make a Blanket Day: Walled Lake/Novi

Fleece & Thank You, Michigan’s largest provider of comfort care to hospitalized children, is hosting a community blanket-making event with the goal of creating 1,000+ blankets. This event is expected to engage the entire Walled Lake and Novi school districts. Attendees from Walled Lake, Novi and surrounding communities will make colorful, no-sew fleece blankets, each with an inspiring video message attached to it from the maker. Annually, the nonprofit aims to make and deliver 30,000 blankets to children in hospitals. And the demand continues to grow, hence why these Make a Blanket Day events are so important.
