Mahindra Concert Series presents Asamu Johnson & The Associates of the Blues

Concert benefits The Greening of Detroit. Blues singer and guitarist Asamu Johnson and his quintet have performed at various festivals throughout the country. They have opened for such blues legends as Koko Taylor and have performed at famous blues venues like Teddy’s Juke Joint and the Pee Dee Blues Bash. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Asamu Johnson and the Associates of the Blues have been named Regional Champions in the International Blues Challenge for two years running.
