Labor Day weekend is upon us, which means a slew of festivals are happening. If you need help selecting which festival is the best fit for you, you can check out our Festival Guide to get a feel for each one.

Anyway, at least half the point of festivals is to day drink lukewarm beer out of plastic cups, which means you might be a little buzzed by the time you're done browsing through vendors and taking in live music.

Well, the ridesharing app Lyft is offering special discount counts that will make it even easier for you to avoid getting behind the wheel after sipping that sweet, sweet Bud Light.

The company is the "official transportation partner" for Arts, Beats, and Eats and Detroit Jazz Fest and they're offering promo codes for 25 percent off a ride, up to $5.

For Arts, Beats, and Eats — which will have two dedicated drop-off and pick-up zones, one at Lafayette just north of Fourth Street, and one on Main Street between Seventh and Lincoln streets — the promo code is ARTSBEATSEATS17.

For Detroit Jazz Fest — which will have a dedicated pick-up and drop-off zone at Michigan Avenue and Griswold Street — the code is DETROITJAZZFEST.
