Lower, Makthaverskan, and Something Cold DJs

The boys of Lower are another incarnation of the Copenhagen craze (the band is composed of members from Iceage, Var, and Marching Church) that’s been sweeping the cold-wave scene in NYC, L.A., and now Detroit. It could be their Scandinavian good looks, but more likely their recent success is due to the fact that they’re making really good post-punk music. Catch them at PJ’s as they tour on their second release on Matador, I’m A Lazy Son…But I’m The Only Son. With special guests Makthavserskan and Something Cold DJs. (21+)
