John DeLorean's stunning former metro Detroit home doesn't have gull-wing doors — but it is for sale

Don't you wish you could hop in a DeLorean and gun it to '88? Time travel may not be a thing (yet), but we do have these photos of famed automotive engineer John DeLorean's former Bingham Farms home, which is currently for sale for a cool $1.1 million.

This 1.72 acre Saarinen/Swanson-designed property is slightly more classic than, say, a 1981 DMC 12. A former horse stable, the beautiful brick estate now has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Four of the bedrooms sit on the main floor, while a bedroom suite takes the second floor and offers a scenic rotunda painting of a cloudy blue sky. The property comes complete with a guest house; both houses total more than approximately 5,000 sq. ft.
