What can one even say about Jerry Seinfeld in a 100-word blurb? The comedian is, of course, most famous for the iconic ’90s sitcom he named after himself. He originally created the series with Larry David, and called it The Seinfeld Chronicles, but made the right choice in renaming it more simply. Most importantly, though, he’s a side-splitting comic who can make even the most mundane events (showering at someone else’s house, for one) into a hilarious and relatable bit. If you want to amp yourself up before this show, watch his new special, Jerry Before Seinfeld, which premiered on Netflix in September.
Shows begin at 7 and 10 p.m.; 2211 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313presents.com; Tickets start at $49.
