Into the Light - A Winter Solstice Celebration of Life and Love

The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year — which means we're moving toward more and more natural light each day that follows. This first annual celebration will move you into the light with inspirational yoga, a live DJ set, meditation, breath work, an artisan market, and an afterglow party. Certified yoga instructor Kate Makaroff will lead participants through an intentional moon flow with meditation and pranayama. This empowering practice, accessible to people of all levels, will create incredible energy, refreshing and rebalancing the mind and body. The artisan market will be open before and after practice, and participants can shop for a variety of trinkets, treasures, and healing modalities there. An afterglow will be held following the practice where guests can sip libations, nosh snacks, and mingle through the market together. The community event to celebrate life, the changing of the seasons, and turning toward the light also has an altruistic element: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
