Interpol

In 1997, the internationally known post-punk band named Interpol was just forming. From the quagmire of the post-punk era, rock, indie, and post-punk revival bands like the Strokes, Longwave, the National, and Stellastarr were bubbling up, playing iconic venues like the Luna Lounge in New York City. By 2002, Interpol’s first album was getting rave reviews, beckoning a generation of future hipsters to become their loyal fanbase. Thirteen years later, 20somethings will experience catharsis seeing their favorite band of their teenage years.
