Imagine Dragons

It didn’t take long for Las Vegas pop-rockers Imagine Dragons to reach the top. Only four years separated their conception and their smash hit “Radioactive” from debut record Night Visions (which managed to reach gold and platinum status in 22 countries). Their immediate success was not a cue to sit quiet, but rather to release two more records that have done nothing but dominate the airwaves. Having crafted a career on songs suited for an action movie scene where the protagonist realizes they have to do something about the impending robot attack/massive storm/intergalactic battle/what have you, it’s hard to imagine these Dragons are going anywhere but up.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; 2645 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-6611; olympiaentertainment.com; Tickets start at $49.50.
