The history of Detroit can be seen through a tour of its early churches and religious locations. This tour combines a selection of historic churches, monuments or markers (21 in total), with the neighborhoods and people that they serve or served. This selection includes: Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Congregational, Jewish, Baptist and Episcopalian. The neighborhoods include: Downtown, Corktown, Southwest Detroit, Cass Corridor/Midtown and Lafayette Park. Due to church hours and tour timing there will be no inside visits of the churches.
