Guns in Michigan: Different Views

How long has it been since you had a calm, reasoned discussion with someone you don't agree with on gun rights? Most of us have strong opinions on the issue, and sometimes it’s hard to understand why people can think so differently on this issue. The Center for the Study of Citizenship is offering a chance to hear smart people on both sides of the issue present their thoughts, followed by a moderated, coffeehouse-type conversation. Speakers: James Makowski (Michigan Gun Owners’ Association) Linda Brundage (Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence) Moderator: Brian Dickerson (Detroit Free Press)
