Gallery Talk and Pop-Up: Susanne Stephenson

Join renowned artist and educator Susanne Stephenson for a gallery talk about her retrospective exhibition TRANSFIGUREMENT, followed by a special pop-up of Stephenson’s smaller work and functional ware in Pewabic’s tile showroom. Transfigurement is curated by Tom Phardel and explores more than half a century of Stephenson’s work, which is known for gestural abstract landscapes and her painterly application of colored ceramic slips and engobes. The exhibition is at Pewabic until May 13, 2018.
