Global pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company will be bringing mobile research units to the greater Detroit area for a second time. Attendees of the Birmingham Street Art Fair aged 65 years and older will have the opportunity to undergo a free blood screening on Sept. 17-18th at Shain Park to see if they’re at risk for Alzheimer’s disease and to potentially be enrolled in an ongoing clinical trial. And the waves I capture on this lake are generally two-fold. There are the main lake waves, which are generated from strong winds that whip up the water, and there are secondary waves that are created when these waves crash into barriers near the shoreline.”
