Film Screening: America You Kill Me

Award winning film - America You Kill Me - The rise, the fall and the legacy of gay rights warrior Jeffrey Montgomery. This film won the Freep Film Festival Spirit of Detroit Award 2022. For many Americans, it may seem as though the recent waves of change in Gay Rights happened overnight, but this is not so. The road against vicious intolerance and opposition was slowly paved for decades by generations of activists who fought hard every step of the way. This is a feature-length documentary film about the life and impact of one such leader.
