Pop punk is alive and well as Canada’s own Simple Plan and Sum 41 crossed the bridge to celebrate 20 years of No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls and Fat Lip respectively at Detroit’s Fillmore on Tuesday. With openers Set It Off, the “Blame Canada Tour” made its stop in the Motor City and punks, skids, and emo kids young and old moshed like it was an indoor Warped Tour.
