The city of Detroit came together in the Cass Corridor on Saturday to enjoy music, art, food, and other randomness at the 44th annual Dally in the Alley.
An indie rock band played on one corner and a dog show was being held just around the block. A soul band played on the Alley stage and DJs were at the ends of the street. Skater boys took up a section of a road to showcase their tricks and people showcased their dance moves bravely. Plus, you could buy just about anything your heart desired, especially if you wanted something with the word “Detroit” emblazoned on it.
The free community festival returned in 2022 after a short hiatus, and the break did not stop the event’s eccentricity from flourishing. With over 50 bands and DJs alongside tons of local eats and creativity, the festival offered a mix of awesome things for everyone.
