EMU “Let’s Be Blunt About Marijuana Legalization” panel

The Eastern Michigan University Cannabis Education Coalition will host a panel event titled “Let’s Be Blunt About Marijuana Legalization,” which will focus on the marijuana law, risks, benefits and side effects. The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the EMU Student Center Auditorium. The panel will be comprised of Senator Jeff Irwin, who introduced legislation to expunge low-level marijuana-related offenses from criminal records, Dr. Kevin Boehnke from the Department of Anesthesiology and the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center at University of Michigan; and Community Relations Officer Tim Siecinski from EMU’s Department of Public Safety.
