L.A. indie dream rockers and festival darlings Electric Guest are still new enough to be considered up-and-comers yet well-rounded enough to be a threat to seasoned indie vets. The twosome teamed up in 2011 and have since released two records — their latest Plural dropped earlier this year. Fusing hazy, retro ’70s summer vibes with pre-Bankrupt! era Phoenix, Electric Guest crafts a soundtrack for roller rink innocence to second-base shenanigans.
