What began as the bedroom recording project of Real Estate guitarist Matt Mondanile, Ducktails has, five studio albums later, developed into its own full-fledged incarnation of “chill wave.” Mondanile will demonstrate the evolution, playing the pedal heavy lo-fi jam sessions Ducktails became known for, as well as the more pop oriented songs off his latest album, St. Catherine. Either way, it will sound pretty damn weird.
