Dr. Prof. Leonard King Orchestra

Leonard King has a new spot to host both his Lyman Woodard Organization Orchestra and his own jazz orchestra this year. They’ll be performing their infectious, R&B-inflected brand of supreme jazz awesomeness on the second Wednesday of every other month, at Trinos. Upcoming dates are May 11, Sept. 14, and Nov. 9. Tonight’s lineup is enormous and exciting, and includes Keith Kaminski and Gary Kwek on soprano saxophones, Justin Walter on trumpet; Carl Horn and Steve Hunte on trombones, Ron English on guitar, Glenn Tucker on organ, James Simonson on bass.
