Dilla Youth Day

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will become the learning stage for young, aspiring music producers. The event’s primary focus is to “provide a fun and compelling, hands-on opportunity for young people to become makers and learn practical skills that can be applied to their own creative process that will inspire young learners towards STEAM disciplines.” STEAM refers to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math fields. Hosted by the Foundation of Women in Hip Hop, Dilla Youth Day will feature learning workshops and performances by youth performance groups.
