Detroit SummerFest is the culmination of the free Summer in the Parks series that have taken place across four downtown Detroit parks all season long. The fest is essentially a three-day street party with a myriad of multicultural live acts to navigate, including street performers, martial arts and theater performances, puppeteers, workout sessions, interactive art, film screening, and a dog parade, to name a few. A diverse lineup of live music acts will also perform across seven stages and include Grammy Award-winning reggae band Steel Pulse, legendary house music DJ Chez Damier, and Detroit native Marissa Guzman.
