This all-purpose tote from Detroit Denim products is handmade from start to finish inside the company’s production studio at Ponyride in Corktown. Crafted with heavyweight U.S.-made denim, cover-stitched and belt-looped handles, and a 9-ounce leather patch, you can lug this puppy around day after day and it will only get better with age — like your favorite pair of jeans. It’s large enough to fit a full day’s worth of necessities. So, if you’re one of those people who needs a team of Sherpas to follow you around with your must-haves for a normal 9 to 5, the Basic Tote provides the roominess you require. Online reviews say it’s highly durable, and, at $30, it’s also the most affordable of the DD totes. That’s not to say the more expensive offerings aren’t worth the additional bread, but their Basic Tote is a great starting point. Check the Detroit Denim website for more offerings, including a full line of totes, additional accessories, and men’s jeans.
